About Crimson Crow

Built around the work.

Backed by more than a decade of hands-on residential construction experience.

The Beginning

Why Crimson Crow?

Crimson Crow started with a simple idea: the same care that goes into the work should carry through the entire project. That means being deliberate about the planning, the communication, the problem-solving and the details that turn an idea into a finished space.

The goal is long-term: strong relationships, work that earns referrals and a reputation that means something when the Crimson Crow name is attached to it.

The Person Behind Crimson Crow

More than a jobsite.

My name is Spencer. I’ve spent over a decade in the trades, starting hands-on in framing and labour before moving into roles with more responsibility, coordinating work and managing projects from start to finish. That progression taught me both sides of the job — what it takes to build the work and what it takes to keep a project moving. I’ve kept learning, improving and refining my craft along the way.

The decision to build Crimson Crow was personal. I’m a husband and father of three, and a big part of it was wanting my kids to grow up watching their dad take a chance, work hard and build something from the ground up. My family has been part of the reason behind it from the beginning, and they’ve been along for the ride ever since.

Also along for the ride is my dog, Baylor, who currently serves as Director of Passive Supervision. Apparently, riding in the truck made him the company’s first employee by default. His contribution to productivity is questionable at best, but looking this good seems to be enough to maintain job security.

For me, Crimson Crow is the result of everything I’ve learned over the years and the chance to keep building on it. Taking pride in my work has always mattered to me. Solving problems, overcoming challenges, working through the details and seeing a project come together from the first idea to the finished result are all part of what keeps me invested in the work.

That same mindset carries into the way I work in someone’s home. I understand the trust that comes with being welcomed into that space. It’s where people live their everyday lives, and often a project they’ve been thinking about for a long time. I don’t take that lightly.

Project Experience

One point of contact.

There is a clear line of responsibility from the first conversation through completion, so questions and decisions stay connected to the work.

What Matters

The standard stays the same.

Respect for the Space

Construction is disruptive enough without making the rest of the house feel like part of the jobsite. Work areas stay organized, the surrounding space is protected and daily life is kept in mind.

Sound Judgment

Real homes do not always match the drawing. When something unexpected shows up, the next move should come from experience rather than guesswork.

Follow-Through

The last ten percent is where a project either comes together or falls short. Transitions, adjustments and final details get the same attention as the bigger work.

Accountability

If something needs attention, it gets addressed. Communication stays clear and responsibility does not get passed around.

Service Area

Local reputation.
